Circle K InternationalCircle K International is a community service group that promotes leadership and fellowship. The club is made up of both Undergraduate and Graduate students from all different backgrounds and majors. CKI tackles many issues that the group may be interested in, but the main focus is on children. Habitat for HumanityFounded in 1990, the FSU Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is working on the campus and within the community to help in the effort to eliminate substandard housing right here in Tallahassee. As a chapter, our goals are to raise money for Habitat houses, educate FSU students and the community on what Habitat is all about, and coordinate student volunteers for builds. |

HELPH.E.L.P.’s mission is to provide an emotionally nurturing environment for disadvantaged children through positive role model enforcement. Helping Every Little Person seeks to instill the importance of self-esteem and promote the value of education by visiting the preschool centers they adopt through Kids Incorporated. JumpstartJumpstart is a national non-profit early education organization that combats the rising trend of preschoolers in low-income communities entering school without the skills needed to succeed. National Society of Collegiate ScholarsThe National Society of Collegiate Scholars is an honors organization that invites first and second year students that have a 3.4 GPA or are in the top 20% of their class for membership. If you have been invited to join you not only have the opportunity to join a nationally recognized organization but one that also provides opportunities for leadership development and involvement in the community. We also offer 50 $1,000 scholarships for new members nationally as well as partnerships with GEICO, Microsoft, and Ernst & Young. We were recently awarded the FSU 2005 Service Organization of the year. We are the only organization that is a nationally recognized honor society, a registered student organization, and a recognized service organization under the Center for Leadership and Civic Education.
